Hey Awesome ones,
As a former 80s model here’s a video for tips on applying a less-foundation, NATURAL LOOK MAKEUP.
If you’re like me, you don’t want to spend a lot of time applying a heavy liquid foundation. After all as mature women we’ve got things to do…people to see!
I also am partial to a more natural look with my makeup. I see many women these days with pancake style foundations and over-the-top contouring and highlighting.
I carefully teach a quick (I can apply my foundation, cover up concealer and contouring in less than 2 minutes) process in this video that includes concealer tricks to hide those nasty imperfections such as dark circles, blemishes, bags and brown or dark spots on our face. I also show you blush, contouring and shimmer-highlighting tips.
Although you can enjoy the techniques here if your in your 20s, 30s, and 40’s I want to make sure mature women over 50 or 60 see me put these products to the test (I’m 62).
I know for sure that true beauty comes from who we are on the inside but with a little covering up here and a little sparkle there you might just hear the comment ” Wow, you look fabulous”.
Keep on being awesome everyone!
Heather
I’m in my 50’s and just found your videos yesterday. I really enjoy them, and especially like the fact that you apply your own makeup, unlike other videos where some makeup artist is applying it to a 20 year old model. I find your videos very informative, and useful. I can’t wait to start trying some of your techniques.
I’ve never really been into makeup in the past, but now that I’m getting older, I really need it. . . dark spots, and circles, and bag (you know). Anyway, I’m like you – don’t want to get surgery, or do the botox thing. I want my look to be natural. I feel armed with the tips and tricks you’ve suggested.
Thanks for the taking the time to do these video!
Keep ’em coming.
Hi Audrey,
Thanks so much for your inspiring comment. I want to keep it real and no needles or surgery for me. I feel encouraged by comments like yours to keep on making these videos, thanks! Heather
I love love the simple ways to bring out the youthfulness that hides under a few “imperfections.” Plus, you are charming! Thank you.
Thanks so much Jacque for taking the time to write such a lovely comment. It’s much appreciated. Heather
