In this YouTube beauty video vlog I use just 8 make up products to give you a natural look. Most of these items you can also get at a nearby drugstore or online. So whether you’re a younger woman or over 50 I’ll show you how to improve the look of hooded or droopy eyes, vanishing eyebrows, disappearing lips, covering up and concealing dark spots under eye circles and even blemishes. There are lots of techniques and applications here so take your time and learn to enhance your features with the help of a little bit of makeup.
You’ve also been asking for names and where you can get many of the products seen the videos, so here they are for this one. Hi Heather
I am watching with interest – almost 60 years of age and retiring 31 December 2018 to move to Spain to live from the UK….I gave up on makeup following so many hot flushes, but I am going to get back into it thanks to you!
Love your video tutorials from every aspect!
xx
Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know you are enjoying the videos and they are helpful. You just made my day!
Hi Heather,
I’m 64 and struggling a bit with the whole age thing. Don’t mind the age but when I look in the mirror I long for the pretty girl that once was there. I recently stumbled across your videos looking for eye makeup for droopy eyes. I haven’t worn makeup in 20 years. I am so happy to find you. I think you are my blond twin. I am trying out makeup now and you have inspired me so much. I am beginning to feel confident again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!💙
Thanks so much for your honest and beautiful comment. I feel like I’m in my 20s but look in the mirror I ask..who is that? Good lighting helps and if I catch a glance under florescent lights I just quickly look away! LOL You made my day when you said I’m helping you with confidence, that’s what I truly want to do! Keep on being beautiful on the outside (you are you know… and a little makeup to enhance the features helps) and also on the inside my blond twin!!
Hi Heather! I just turned 60. I had stopped wearing mascara and eyeliner mostly because it bothers my eyes by the end of the day and I hate the dark smudges I find under my eyes even after removing. I’m ready to try it again after watching your videos! My lashes really need it for a finished look. I was wondering why you put eyeliner on first? I had always applied after my shadow. Is there an advantage to putting it on before shadow? Thanks for the videos! So nice to see someone my age with a natural yet beautiful approach to makeup.
I use Dior Diorshow mascara. It’s pricey but doesn’t give me the smudges as other mascaras do. I find that the eye shadow powder does not allow my eyeliner to adhere that well and looks smudgy by the end of the day if I apply that way. Hope this helps- Heather
